(1) Control system design
A locking device (1) beneficiation plant operations, if a device stops its open front impact device, are required to control interlock; otherwise may not have to interlock;
(2) The operation procedure of the interlock is as follows:
1) At the time of starting, starting from the final equipment of the transportation system, the reverse material conveying direction is started in sequence. When parking, the order is reversed to the order of starting, and the materials on each equipment should be drained as much as possible to avoid load starting;
2) When a device fails, all equipment in front of it (in the direction of reverse material transport) should stop running immediately, and the subsequent equipment can continue to run until the material is empty;
3) The post personnel can release the interlock and operate in a single machine according to the operation requirements;
4) The crusher and other equipment on the interlocking line should be started before the belt conveyor; when the interlock line is stopped, it should be stopped for a long time;
5) In addition to iron also its facility on the conveyor belt and overhead traveling interlocking metal detector.
6) The walking mechanism of the mobile device in the system does not participate in the interlock.
B Operation mode According to the current situation, the following two methods are available.
(1) Electrical interlocking, centralized operation;
(2) Electrical interlocking, decentralized operation.
C Safety facilities (1) The side of the belt conveyor should be equipped with a cable accident switch or a fixed accident switch;
(2) In order to monitor the operation of the belt conveyor, safety facilities such as anti-offset switch, rotary controller, speed detector, funnel blockage detector and longitudinal crack detector shall be installed;
(3) For larger power belt conveyors, overcurrent protection devices shall be provided;
(4) For electrical equipment such as workshops, transfer stations and corridors in the transportation system, measures such as anti-corrosion and explosion-proof should be considered according to the specific conditions of the materials and the environment. [next]
(2) Protection device A Pull switch The pull switch is generally installed on one side of the belt conveyor frame. When the operator pulls the pull wire in any part of the conveyor, the switch can be operated, and the circuit is cut off to stop the equipment. In addition, when the driving signal is issued, if the vehicle is not allowed to drive at the site, the switch can also be pulled to stop the starting. The domestic pull switch has PLK-25 and 100.
B anti-bias switch (running deviation detector)
The anti-bias switch is installed on both sides of the head and tail of the belt conveyor, 1 to 2 meters away from the head and tail rollers. For shorter belt conveyors, a pair of anti-bias switches can be installed only on the head.
When the conveyor belt runs off, the conveyor belt pushes the anti-offset switch's stop roller to make the switch act, cut off the power supply, and stops the conveyor. If the system is interlocked, the switch participates in the chain. Domestic anti-bias switches have PFK 0 -A, KPT 2 and other varieties.
C rotary controller, speed detector (slip monitor)
The function of the rotary controller is to keep the electrical circuit of the machine connected when the conveyor belt reaches the normal speed, and start the rest of the equipment through the interlocking system; otherwise, when the speed of the conveyor belt is too slow or stopped, the rotary controller stops outputting and cuts off. The local electrical circuit, while stopping the rest of the equipment through the interlock system. Domestic rotary controllers are available in PXK0 and other varieties.
The conveyor belt slip monitor is essentially a speed measuring switch that sends a signal and cuts off the circuit when the belt speed is reduced to 60 to 70% of the design speed. If it is operated by the machine, only the signal will be sent without stopping. There are many types of slip monitors, mainly roller type, flat roller type and shaft head mounting type. The speed detector (BIIS-M2) installed in Baoshan Iron and Steel Plant has a speed switch which is ESRW type. The installation is shown in Figure 1.

D Funnel (Chute) Blockage Detector The clogging detector is typically mounted on the funnel wall of the belt conveyor to detect flow in the funnel. When the funnel is clogged, the material pushes the travel switch and shuts off the power to the conveyor. There are many types of funnel plug detectors, such as side press type, probe type, leak type and propeller type. The funnel plugging detector installed in Baoshan Iron and Steel Plant is shown in Figure 2. The model of the domestic chute jam detector similar to this type is LDM type.
E Longitudinal Crack Detector The conveyor longitudinal tear detector is essentially a load cell. Because it is a ribbon, the function is the same as a general switch, so it is also called a ribbon switch. When the metal weight in the material on the conveyor belt is pressed onto the ribbon switch, the two wires (electrodes) inside are in contact, the circuit is turned on, and the conveyor immediately stops running and sends a signal. The installation of the longitudinal crack detector used in Baoshan Iron and Steel Plant is shown in Figure 3. The domestic vertical tear protection device has ZL series products.
