BPC Raises Potash Prices in Brazil and Southeast Asia

According to related personnel from the White Potash Corp (BPC), the company began to increase the sales price of potash fertilizer to Brazil and Southeast Asian countries from November 8. The Asian Standard Potassium Chloride spot contract price will increase to US$430 per ton, and fine-grained KCl will increase to US$450 per ton. Large users of Brazilian imports of fine-grained potash will be purchased at US$440 per ton, while small users will be purchased at US$450 per ton.
Previously, the prices of standard potassium chloride and fine-grained potassium chloride for the Asian market were US$405/tonne and US$420/tonne, respectively; for the Brazilian market, the selling price was US$410/tonne for large users and US$420/tonne for small users.
According to Nikolai Yankee, chairman of the White Potash Corp., in 2010, the demand for potash fertilizer rose by an unprecedented increase in the price of major crops, and the prospects for potash fertilizer sales are promising.
The White Russian Potash Company was established in 2005, of which Ural Potash Holdings is 50%, White Russian Potash Plant is 45%, and Belarusian Railway Bureau is 5%.
