Hainan Wenchang: Taxi "fly" out of the highway to 2 dead and 3 injured

In the afternoon of October 5th, a traffic accident occurred in Wenchang City, Hainan Province. A taxi carrying five people (including drivers) flew out of the highway when driving at Haiwen Expressway (Haikou to Wenchang). The person died and three were injured.

In the afternoon of the same day, a taxi with the license plate Qiong C74035 drove to Wenchang from the Haikou Expressway (S11) Haikou. The fire brigade full-time command post was dispatched by the police.

At 16:15, the fire brigade arrived at the scene of the accident and saw that the site was in a mess, glass shards and auto parts were scattered all over the place. At the scene, 3 passengers were sent to the Municipal People's Hospital for treatment, and taxi drivers and 1 passenger were still trapped inside the car.

After understanding the situation, the fire officers and soldiers again investigated the scene of the accident. After investigation, it was found that the taxi driver's feet were stuck in the car and pressed the passengers trapped in the passenger cabin. They could not move, and life and death were unknown.
