The structure of plug-in electromagnetic flowmeter The plug-in electromagnetic flow sensor is mainly composed of a measuring head (or measuring tube), an excitation system, an insertion rod, a junction box, a mounting base, and a sealing and positioning mechanism. The specific description is as follows:

Measuring head (or measuring tube): The measuring head (measurement tube) is located at the mass flow velocity of the pipe to measure the flow velocity at this point. The head (or measuring tube) of a flow head (or measuring tube) made of an insulating material has a pair of electrodes mounted thereon. Except for the electrode tip or the inner wall of the measuring tube, other parts are insulated from the measured liquid.

Junction box: The junction box is located in the upper part of the sensor. Terminal blocks in the junction box function as sensors and transducers.

Excitation system: The role of the excitation system is to produce a working magnetic field. It consists of an excitation coil and a core. It is insulated and sealed into the insert rod.

Insertion rod: Made of stainless steel. The measuring head east measuring tube is fixed in the insertion rod. Excitation leads and lead wires are sealed with the media and connected to the junction box via the insertion bar. A direction indicator rod is welded on the insertion rod to ensure that the working magnetic field, the flow velocity, and the electrode connection are perpendicular to each other during installation, and meet the requirements of Faraday's electromagnetic induction law.

Sealing mechanism: Compression screw seat made of stainless steel, pressing nut, rubber washer and set screw. It is used to seal the electromagnetic sensor so that it can withstand a certain working pressure.

Mounting base: The mounting base is the part that is welded on the pipeline under test to connect with the installation ball valve and insert the electromagnetic flowmeter sensor.
