The 2.5MW wind power gearbox project was designed and developed by CSR Qishuyan Locomotive & Rolling Stock Research Institute Co., Ltd. (referred to as the China South Qishu Qishu Institute). The project started in October 2010 and lasted six months. It successfully completed the design, manufacture and testing, passed a third-party audit, and obtained the German “GL Classification Society†certification. In the process of project advancement, CSR Qishuyan has fully exploited the superiority of material technology research and development accumulated in more than 50 years, as well as multidisciplinary professional advantages such as casting, heat treatment, mechanical processing, welding and surface treatment, and overcame design, materials, large-scale casting and Technical difficulties in processing and assembly, etc. Product technical indicators have reached the international advanced level.
