Now, the output performance of the highest 60kW/L is expected to reach 80 to 100kW/L in the next few years. By increasing the output performance, it is expected to increase the proportion of use in sports cars.
The US market had many models equipped with diesel engines in 2004, but according to California's exhaust emission standard "LEVII", sales of diesel vehicles will not change much in 2006, when low-sulfur fuels are used. It is expected that diesel models will increase after 2006, especially light trucks. By the end of 2010, the penetration rate in individual regions is expected to reach 6%.
Compared with the United States, the demand for diesel vehicles in Western European countries has reached a record high and market share has expanded dramatically.
