By 2050, China's equipment manufacturing industry will enter the first phalanx of the world's equipment manufacturing powerhouses, and become a powerful equipment manufacturing country with global influence.

Su Bo emphasized that in this process, there are 8 key tasks. The first is to establish and improve the industrial technological innovation system. The second is to actively build a new mechanism for deep integration and development of the two. The third is to strengthen the manufacturing base. The fourth is to promote the construction of quality brands. The fifth is to promote green manufacturing. Sixth, cultivate a globally competitive business community. Seventh, accelerate the development of modern manufacturing services. Eighth is to promote the "going out" of Chinese equipment.

He pointed out that it is necessary to strive to achieve major breakthroughs in several key areas such as high-end CNC machine tools, power equipment, industrial robots and smart equipment, aviation equipment, ships and marine engineering equipment, advanced rail transit equipment, energy-saving and new energy vehicles.
