Gas turbine flowmeter equipment installation

(1) Gas turbine flowmeters are precision measuring instruments that must be handled with care during transportation, storage and operation.

(5) The flowmeter should be installed horizontally. Flowmeter with lubrication system should be installed to ensure the lubrication of the bottle opening upwardly. The nominal diameter DN ≤ 200 gas turbine flowmeter can be installed vertically. When installed and used, the airflow should be from top to bottom.

(6) In any case, a straight pipe section with the same nominal diameter and the nominal diameter of the flowmeter shall be installed upstream of the turbine flowmeter, the length requirement shall be ≥ 2DN; and the downstream shall also be fitted with a straight line of the same nominal diameter as the flowmeter. Pipe or elbow , and requires a total length of ≥ 2DN.

(7) The opening angle of the reducer or the diverging tube upstream of the gas turbine flow meter inlet pipe must not exceed 30. . In order to ensure the gas policy delivery, it is convenient to maintain the flowmeter, and a bypass pipeline should be set on the flowmeter installation pipeline.

(8) The gas turbine flow meter should be slowly pressurized and started, and the impact load of the quick opening valve usually damages the impeller.

(9) If it is necessary to do the welding work on the pipeline near the turbine flowmeter , the turbine flowmeter must be removed. Otherwise, perineum duct temperature is too high leads to the destruction of the flowmeter.

(10) When installing the gas turbine flowmeter, be careful to make the gas flow direction coincide with the direction indicated by the arrow on the case. Installation errors will cause damage to the turbine flowmeter.

(11) The pipeline must be free from vibration. The airflow in the pipeline must not have large pulsations and impurities. There is no dust or liquid. The foreign matter entering the pipeline will seriously damage the turbine flowmeter. When the flow of the gas is expected to exist, the flowmeter may be damaged. For foreign materials, it is recommended to install a filter on the upstream pipe of the turbine flow meter.

(12) For gas turbine flowmeters installed outdoors, appropriate protective measures should be provided for weather protection.

(13) It is recommended that the actual flow rate of the gas turbine flowmeter should be within the range of 20% to 80% of the maximum rated flow of the flowmeter . The gas turbine flow meter allows short-term overload, but the actual maximum flow rate cannot exceed 20% of the maximum flow allowed by the gas turbine flow meter and must not exceed half an hour.

Sure that (14) coaxially connected to the turbine flow meter installed flowmeter inlet and outlet are aligned, and the bolts force uniformly, so as not to affect the sealing effect. In order to obtain accurate measurements, it must be ensured that no seals protrude from the flange into the pipeline.
