New steel ship board technology won the second prize of scientific and technological progress

Its main innovations are manifested in four areas:

The first is equipment support technology. Xingang has independently developed advanced plate-shaped process control technology as the core, and made major breakthroughs in high-precision setting calculation, providing equipment support for efficient production of ship plates.

The second is the key process technology. Xingang independently developed a number of proprietary technologies such as multi-grade steel and multi-product manufacturing. It first discovered the orderly arrangement of the second phase in the ferrite reticulated membrane and made new breakthroughs in the study of crack formation mechanism.

The third is the thin specification ship board manufacturing technology. The patented technology for high-quality thin gauge ship plate development and the patented new technology for normalizing treatment developed by Xinsteel have made major breakthroughs in the manufacture of thin gauge plates for plate mills.

The fourth is information technology. Xingang has developed a shipboard production and sales management information system, and has made major breakthroughs in the integration of the primary system and the tertiary manufacturing execution system, and obtained a number of software copyrights.

Up to now, the project's new steel group has been successfully applied and achieved remarkable results: from 2008 to 2010, Xingang produced a total of 4,836,600 tons of ship plates, of which 796,500 tons were exported, profits and taxes were 4.951 billion yuan, and shipboards were obtained in 9 countries. The classification society certification, the project technology will promote China's shipbuilding industry, ocean transportation industry, marine oil and gas fields and other industries to a more healthy development path.
