OKI commercializes the world's first UV sensor IC using thin film SOI

Today, Tokyo-Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as OKI) reported that the UV (ultraviolet) sensor IC "ML8511" with a built-in operational amplifier (Note 1) was commercialized. Using SOI (insulated silicon)-CMOS (Note 2) technology, OKI pioneered the world's first UV sensor with analog voltage output and no filter. Also, since June, samples have been supplied for applications such as portable UV measuring instruments.

As people's health care continues to grow, the demand for UV sensors is increasing due to the use of accessories and portable devices. Since the UV sensor uses a compound semiconductor such as gallium nitride, it is very difficult to mount a peripheral circuit on the same chip. Moreover, since a UV sensor using silicon senses a wide range of light, a filter that blocks visible light is indispensable, and further, manufacturing variations and sensitivity are also to be solved.

President of Yamada Ryuji of OKI Group's semiconductor device company said: "OKI has been researching and developing UV sensor ICs through thin-film SOI technology in order to realize high-precision UV sensors that are easy to embed in mobile devices. The successful development of "ML8511" The built-in op amp and single-chip realize the analog voltage output function, and at the same time, it is possible to develop a small-sized UV measuring instrument with high portability at the lowest cost so far without using a filter that blocks visible light." Moreover, OKI The UV sensor IC is suitable for digital and analog circuits due to its easy-to-integrate SOI-CMOS technology. President Yamada also stated that "in the future, OKI will flexibly use this feature to strengthen the digital output circuit connected to the microprocessor, and then form a lineup of single-chip products with the Inductive Brightness Sensor (Note 3). The plan is not only for the decorative measuring device that can grasp the UV risk at a glance, but also to grasp the UV risk at any time, and to sell the product for a wide range of applications such as home appliances and portable devices."

Custom car hubcap emblems can add a personalized touch to your vehicle. It could be your initials, rim cover,a favorite sports team logo, a business logo, or even a favorite quote.
Here are a few steps on how to create a custom car rim cap logo:
1. Design: If you don`t feel confident designing your own, hire a professional. Provide them with your ideas and they can create a design for you
2. Choose material: The material of the wheel cover logo is also critical. It needs to be durable and weather-resistant. Acrylic or aluminum are good choices.
3. Size and shape: Measure the size of your car's wheels to determine the size of your logo. The shape can be round to fit perfectly on the hub, but it can be any shape that fits the hub.
4. Color and Finish: Choose a color that matches the color of your car. The finish can be glossy or matte, depending on your preference.
Remember, our goal is to enhance the appearance of your car while expressing your personality or promoting your brand. So make sure your custom logo is consistent with it.
