Russia plans to purchase China's new boat 60

According to Russian News, reported on March 1st, officials of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Sakha Republic stated that the Sakha Republic government plans to purchase the Chinese-made MA60 (New Boat 60) aircraft to replace the old An-24 aircraft. The official stated that the “polar route” airlines that are engaged in transportation within the Republic believe that the MA60 is the best solution for updating the old An-24 transport aircraft. It is reported that China Xi'an Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. and Okay Airlines are negotiating with the government of the Republic of Sakha on updating the existing aircraft. The aircraft exhibition was held recently at Yakutsk Airport.
