Bluestar Machinery successfully developed the largest nitric acid absorption tower in China

The core equipment of the nitric acid plant, φ4600mm nitric acid absorption tower, has been successfully developed in Sichuan Lanxing Machinery Co., Ltd. and will be used in the largest domestic 150,000 tons/year domestic nitric acid plant. This indicates that China has the ability to independently design and manufacture such large-scale chemical equipment with world-class technology, which has filled the gap in the field for a long time in China. The absorption tower is produced by 3-stage manufacturing and on-site assembly. It has a diameter of 4.6 meters, a total length of 63.1 meters, a weight of 246 tons, and a single output value of 12 million yuan. The company then decided to add another 15 square ton/year plant to expand production scale. . However, due to the high capital pressure on imported equipment, the company has repeatedly weighed and decided to use the crab to realize the localization of the nitric acid absorption tower of the core equipment of the device, and finally handed over the task of localization to the Blue Star Machinery Company.

To this end, Bluestar Machinery Company set up a research and development team to designate this equipment as the company's 2006 technology development project. In the manufacturing process of the equipment, the company adopted the international advanced sieve tray structure, coil structure and strict processing technology. In view of the connection between the tube and the tube sheet of the cooler in the tower, the company independently developed the welding technology of single-sided welding and double-sided forming of the inner hole, which is the first in China.

The successful localization of the φ4600mm nitric acid absorption tower is of great significance to the construction of large-scale nitric acid plants in China, and it also marks a significant increase in the strength of Bluestar Machinery's manufacturing of various large-scale petrochemical key equipment.
