From February 1, 2008, China's light commercial vehicles will begin to implement national standards for fuel consumption limits. This standard sets a two-stage fuel consumption limit for China's light commercial vehicles, and China's light commercial vehicle fuel consumption is expected to reduce by 10%.
The “Limit of Fuel Consumption for Light Commercial Vehicles†(GB 20997-2007) has been issued by the National Standards Committee on July 19. This is China's first mandatory national standard for limiting the fuel consumption of light commercial vehicles. According to Jin Y, the chief drafter of the standard and the chief engineer of the China Automotive Research Center, the standard sets a light commercial vehicle with a total design mass of under 3,500 kg, usually 9-12 seats, including the same design total mass to carry cargo. The two-stage fuel consumption limit for the main light commercial vehicle. According to the requirements, starting from February 1, 2008, the newly certified basic model car and its variant vehicles shall meet the requirements of the second stage limit; as of January 1, 2009, the certified model of the vehicle shall be valid before February 1, 2008. Production vehicles and their variants shall meet the requirements for the first phase of the limit; as of January 1, 2011, all vehicles that are applicable to this standard shall meet the requirements of the second phase.
This standard separately sets the fuel consumption limits of the first phase and the second phase for light commercial vehicles using gasoline and diesel as fuel, according to different maximum design total masses and different engine displacements. Different fuels, different maximum design total masses and different displacements of light commercial vehicles have set fuel consumption limits. For light commercial vehicles with a maximum design total mass of 2,000 to 2,500 kilograms, gasoline as fuel, and a displacement of 1.5 liters or less, the fuel consumption limit in the first phase shall not exceed 9 liters per 100 kilometers. It must not exceed 8.1 liters. In the standard, such limits total 33 groups, 66 limit values.
China's light commercial vehicles have great potential for reducing fuel consumption. It is reported that in order to formulate this standard, the China Automotive Technology and Research Center and other organizations conducted a study on the evaluation system of fuel consumption limits, the general survey of the domestic fuel consumption of light commercial vehicles, and the statistical analysis of domestic fuel consumption of light commercial vehicles. Research shows that the first phase of the limit is relatively loose, most of the current domestic production of light commercial vehicles can meet the limit requirements, the second phase of the limit is based on the first phase of the limit on the basis of tightening 5% to 10 %.
This standard is one of the important standards to be matched with the “Energy Conservation Law.†Its publication and implementation are of great significance for the implementation of the national energy conservation and emission reduction work requirements, the promotion of the improvement of China’s light commercial vehicle energy-saving technologies, and the improvement of China’s automobile energy-saving standards system. .
Nickel-based alloy powders are commonly used in plasma transfer arc welding (PTAW) due to their excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature strength, and good weldability. These alloys are typically composed of nickel as the base metal, with various alloying elements added to enhance specific properties.
Some commonly used nickel-based alloy powders for PTAW include:
1. Inconel 625: This alloy powder is widely used for PTAW due to its high strength, excellent resistance to corrosion, and oxidation at elevated temperatures. It is commonly used in applications involving seawater, chemical processing, and aerospace industries.
2. Hastelloy X: This alloy powder is known for its high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance. It is commonly used in applications involving gas turbine engines, industrial furnace components, and chemical processing.
3. Monel 400: This alloy powder is known for its excellent resistance to corrosion, particularly in marine environments. It is commonly used in applications involving seawater, chemical processing, and oil refining.
4. Inconel 718: This alloy powder is known for its high strength, excellent resistance to corrosion, and good weldability. It is commonly used in applications involving aerospace, oil and gas, and nuclear industries.
5. Inconel 601: This alloy powder is known for its excellent resistance to high-temperature oxidation and corrosion. It is commonly used in applications involving heat treatment equipment, chemical processing, and power generation.
These nickel-based alloy powders can be used in PTAW processes to create high-quality welds with excellent mechanical properties and resistance to corrosion and high temperatures.
