A method for treating ABS wastewater successfully developed by Daqing Petrochemical Research Institute has recently obtained national invention patents. This is the seventh patent technology that the institute has obtained in the field of environmental protection.
It is understood that this patented technology is to adjust the pH value of the sewage from the ABS production equipment to 6-8 with inorganic acid under mechanical agitation, add basic polyaluminum chloride, and mix thoroughly under mechanical stirring. Adding polyacrylamide and stirring uniformly, then the ABS sewage is allowed to stand to form two phases of water and sediment, the water phase is directly discharged into the subsequent sewage treatment field, the sediment is subjected to solid-liquid separation, and the separation liquid is returned to the pH adjustment process for recycling treatment. The solid matter is recovered.
The technology uses two flocculation and sedimentation separation processes to effectively remove the suspended solids in ABS wastewater. The patented technology can improve the biochemical performance of sewage, reduce the organic load of subsequent sewage, reduce the occurrence of pipeline blockage, and ensure the normal operation of the sewage treatment plant.
