It is reported that this is a private high-tech chemical company that cooperates with a multinational company in the form of an in-house developed technology. The joint venture will accelerate the construction of the first 10,000-ton ethyleneamine project to fill the domestic gap.
Jiangxi Yufeng Chemical Co., Ltd. is a provincial-level high-tech enterprise that integrates scientific research, production, and sales, and is a sponsor of the Jiangxi Chemical Engineering Professional Committee. Aikiko Oil (Corporation) is one of the world's top 500 companies and is a world-renowned manufacturer of phthalic anhydride and plasticizers.
It is understood that through the independent research and innovation, Jiangxi Hurricane Chemical completed the preliminary work of the pilot project of 100 tons/year ethyleneamines project, the feasibility study report for the 10,000-ton plant, and the environmental assessment, and mastered the catalytic synthesis of B. Amines main manufacturing process and special technology, and won the national patent.
It is reported that the project uses a composite catalyst made by Jiangxi Hurricane to improve the conversion rate of dichloroethane, and the synthetic process line is short, the investment is low, and the added value of the product is high, reaching the leading domestic and international advanced level. Compared with the existing overseas ethylene diamine synthesis ethylene amine technology, energy consumption is reduced by 70%, equipment investment is only 1/3 of the old process, and the cost per ton product is reduced by 4,000 yuan compared with the old process.
In order to raise funds for accelerating industrialization, in July this year, the company reached a strategic cooperation intention with Aekyung Petrochemical Korea and decided to co-finance its investment in promoting China's first industrialization project with an annual output of 10,000 tons of ethyleneamines. The total investment of the project is 13,930,600 U.S. dollars, of which (Korea) Aikiko Oil Co., Ltd. is 60%. The first set of domestically produced tens of thousands of tons of ethyleneamines will be mainly used as a substitute for imports to fill gaps in China's ethyleneamines.
According to the plan, the project will be basically completed in January next year, and will be divided into sections for commissioning operations. After the project reaches production, the main business income will be 320 million yuan, and the profits and taxes will be 30 million yuan. Within two months after the first 10,000-ton ethyleneamines project is put into production, the joint venture will start the construction of a second 10,000-tonne ethyleneamine production line with an annual capacity of 20,000 tons, and plans to build it within 3 years. Build an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons.

The production of ethyleneamines in China started later and began in the late 1980s. At that time, several sets of small and medium-sized ethyleneamine production facilities were successively built in China, mostly small devices with an annual output of several hundred tons. The production scale was small, the technology was low, and the raw materials and energy consumption were high, which led to high production costs and difficulties in foreign products. competition. Since 2007, these devices have been discontinued due to technological immature and cost issues. In addition, several sets of devices introduced in the country have also been discontinued due to high consumption due to technical reasons.
As the current production of ethyleneamines in China is basically blank, products are mainly produced in Western developed countries and regions, and domestic demand depends entirely on imports. In recent years, imports of ethyleneamines have increased rapidly year by year, with an average annual growth rate of up to 20%. In 2007, China’s total import of ethyleneamines was 78,000 tons, and in 2008 it exceeded 120,000 tons. It is expected that it will reach 150,000 tons in 2009.
