After FAW Group Corporation organized the personnel department, management department, financial control department, planning department, quality assurance department, manufacturing technology department, and purchasing department. The joint determination of the leaders of the Marketing Management Department, the Development Department, and the Jiqi Auto Company decided that the production preparation for the V80 product of FAW Jilin Automobile Co., Ltd. was formally initiated.
The project leaders of FAW Group's Development Department, Planning Department, Technology Center, Quality Assurance Department, Jihua Automobile Company and Development Department have reported the production capacity and investment status of V80 products, the development progress of V80 products, the quality assurance scheme of V80 products, and V80SE phase production. Preparatory work (in-house, outsourced) and target cost completion, V80 product production preparation services, etc., enabled participants to clarify the specific progress and node completion of the V80 product from development to production.
According to reports, the V80 is the first derivative model based on the Xenia platform and fills the gap between FAW Microbus and Microbus. In April 2010, the FAW Group Development Committee approved the project plan for a new plant for the V80. The company will invest 1.7 billion yuan to build a new factory including the five major processes of stamping, welding, painting, assembly and resin production. The new plant will be completed in June 2012, and the comprehensive production capacity in V80 will be designed to be 100,000 units. This supports the overall plan for the production of 600,000 units in the 12th Five-Year Plan of FAW Jilin Automobile Company.
FAW Group puts forward requirements for the V80 project: to improve the quality and efficiency of production preparation for new products, to improve the utilization of internal resources of FAW Group Corporation, to fully study and practice Toyota's production preparation techniques and management processes, and to formulate suitable conditions through the V80 project. The FAW Group's independent production and control processes and standards for production preparation; V80 is a strategic product of the Group; FAW Group Corporation attaches great importance to it; the product has a high level of operation in the early development planning stage. After entering the standard of production, the Development Department takes the lead as the lead unit and must do a good job. Advancing; The V80 project faces many challenges in the future. The project personnel have full confidence. In terms of specific work, the development department should coordinate the preparation of the implementation plan by the Jisteel company and do a good job of coordination and supervision. Other functional departments, subsidiaries, and project route units also have to shoulder their responsibilities and fully cooperate with each other to upgrade the production preparation system capability of Jihua Company and accumulate experience for similar product projects of the Group Company.
It is understood that the V80 is the core product of FAW Jilin Automobile Co., Ltd. and carries the hope of FAW mini vehicle. With the strong support of FAW Group's various departments and fraternal units, FAW Jilin Automotive will prepare to build the V80 project into a model project that can be used for reference by FAW Group.
