A regenerated column in which gold and silver are desorbed from a saturated resin and the resin is regenerated, and its structure is shown in Fig. 1. The cylinder 6 is provided for resin, and is provided with a discharge device 7 for discharging the solution from the column, and the device is fixed with an easy-to-remove polypropylene screen frame composed of two half-rings of the buckle, so as to be damaged when the screen is damaged. The solution can pass freely through the screen, but the resin does not leak to avoid clogging the lower feed tube 19. A sleeve 13 for inserting a thermometer and an accidental vent tube 14 are provided on the upper portion of the sieve. An air lifter 12 is provided in the center of the regenerative column.
The operation process of the regeneration column is as follows: the resin is added into the column from the tube 5; the solution is placed in a high level tank 3 to 4 m higher than the working platform of the regeneration section, and is fed into the column through the tube 19, through the resin layer and the upper part is equipped with a screen. The discharge device is discharged out of the column through the overflow pipe; the flow rate of the solution through the column depends on the progress time of each operation, generally between 0.5 and 4 m∕min; the resin is regenerated and then sent to the air lifter 12 via the pipe 3 Go to the next column.
