In the first seven months of this year, the auto parts industry in Danyang achieved sales of more than 6 billion yuan, an increase of 20% over the same period of last year. It is estimated that sales of over 12 billion yuan will be realized in the whole year.
Among the nearly 100 enterprises, there are nine companies supporting FAW, seven supporting SAIC, three supporting SAIC, nine supporting JAC, and six supporting Xiamen Jinlong. There are seven supporting facilities in Suzhou Jinlong and nine supporting facilities in Zhengzhou Yutong. In addition, Dongfeng, Beiqi, Hafei, Geely, Xiamen Golden Brigade, etc. are also major supporting OEMs for automobile parts manufacturers in Danyang. Statistics also show that the number of supporting companies in the city and the main engine plant is increasing year by year.
Why do many OEMs favor Danyang auto parts? Hu Weisheng, secretary general of the Danyang Automobile Parts Trade Association, believes that this is due to the fact that Danyang auto parts companies have focused on technological innovation in recent years and have continuously developed new products to continuously improve their product quality. At present, Danyang City auto parts industry already has a number of provincial and national-level high-tech enterprises, many auto parts products in the technical content and quality of grade walk in the forefront of the same industry in the country. For example, the electric power steering system jointly developed by Jiangsu Chaoli Group and relevant units can significantly improve the handling and stability of the vehicle, and has the characteristics of energy saving, environmental protection and safety, etc., in the “China Eleventh Five-Year Plan†Special Development Plan for Auto Parts. It is listed as one of the 19 key development products. At present, the system has been completed with the hippocampal car to complete the vehicle matching, with good results.
